It threads onto a standard Luer lock hub and holds a straight 1/4 inch cannula, and the lavender hub marks the 30 gauge bore at a glance during a color-coded tip changeover on the bench.
Where this dispensing needle fits
Precision electronics and medical-device cells use this fine tip to place microdots and hairline beads of low-viscosity adhesive, CA, or flux on close-pitch parts. The 30 gauge bore runs about 0.006 inch inside, so it lays a fine, controlled bead without flooding the pad or the joint. Operators reach for a finer bore on close-pitch work and a larger bore when the fluid is thicker or the shot needs to move faster. The straight cannula suits open, top-down access where the tip drops straight onto the target.
