Description
The Techcon TS1P plunger is the wiping piston that seats inside 2.5 oz, 6 oz, 8 oz, and 12 oz industrial fluid cartridges, sealing the back of the cartridge while leaving a clean fluid path during dispensing. Molded in blue LDPE for visibility through translucent cartridge walls, the plunger uses a double-wiping edge that holds back air and pressure across the cartridge stroke. Sold in cases of 1000 pieces.
Where the Techcon TS1P plunger goes to work
Adhesive packagers, sealant repackers, and contract dispensing operations install the plunger as the cartridge-back seal during fluid loading. Compatible cartridge sizes include the common 2.5 oz, 6 oz, 8 oz, and 12 oz formats used across single-component sealants, adhesives, and lubricants. The plunger drops into the back of the filled cartridge, seats with light pressure, and stays in place during cap installation and downstream dispensing.
How the Techcon TS1P plunger performs in the field
The double-wiping edge handles operating pressures up to 100 psi (6.9 bar), so most pneumatic and manual cartridge guns drive the plunger forward without bypass leakage. Blue LDPE keeps the plunger visible inside translucent cartridges during dispense, which matters when an operator needs to monitor remaining product or confirm full advance. Overall length 1.08 in (27.4 mm), diameter 1.62 in (41.1 mm).
