Description
The Chem-Set 740K mounts undermount sinks to natural stone without drilling into the countertop. The 1-1/2 inch stud base bonds to the underside of the top with the included 633 Epoxy Gel, then the Z-shaped sink clip, flat washer, and wingnut carry the sink. This version ships with a 50ml cartridge, a Pak-50 dispense gun, and mixing nozzles, so the adhesive mixes through the nozzle instead of by hand. Dishwasher mounting hardware is included.

Installation Steps
- Place the 50ml cartridge into the dispense gun without the mixing nozzle attached. Dispense a small amount until both sides come out at the same time, then attach the mixing nozzle and dispense a 6 to 8 inch bead onto scrap material to purge the cartridge.
- Clean the area to be bonded and the base of the glue-on fastener with alcohol. Both surfaces must be clean and dry for good adhesion.
- Apply 633 Epoxy to the base of the glue-on fastener and set it in position on the underside of the countertop around the sink cut-out.
- Allow the adhesive to set. The gel skins over and hardens in about 5 minutes, but wait 45 minutes to 1 hour before hanging the bowl and putting weight on the anchor.
- Once the adhesive reaches handling strength, place the sink into position, mount the Z-shaped sink clip onto the fastener, add the washer, then tighten with the wingnut.

Working Notes
- The gel skins over in about 5 minutes, so dispense and place each stud before moving to the next one. Do not dispense for all four anchors at once.
- Non-sagging gel consistency holds position on the underside of the top rather than running off the stud base during set.
- Gap fill to 0.250 in helps on tops with an uneven or textured underside where the stud base will not sit perfectly flat.
- Burp the cartridge until both sides come out uniform before attaching the nozzle, so no air is pulled into the mix.
- The cartridge and gun format supports repeatable dispensing across all four anchors without hand mixing.
