Chem-Set Metal Undermount Sink Clips

Chem-Set undermount sink clips are stamped steel brackets that hold an undermount sink to the underside of a stone, quartz, solid surface, or laminate countertop. Choose from five styles: Z-shape, C-shape, and three L-shape clips (Heavy Duty, Short Rise, and High Rise). Every style is sold in boxes of 100, and every clip is made in the USA.

All five styles work with both anchor types: a Chem-Set glue-on anchor bonded to the underside of the top, or a Specialinsert Keep-Nut anchor set mechanically into it.

• Vertical heights run from 0.25 in to 1.25 in, so you can match the clip to the sink rim, with the Short Rise and High Rise made for bowls with a higher rim.
• The C-shape is the narrowest clip at 0.75 in wide, made for compact sinks and tight clearances.
• Short Rise and High Rise share the same 1.50 in length and 0.078 in minimum thickness, so the choice comes down to vertical height.

How Undermount Sink Clips Hold the Sink

An undermount sink clip holds the sink against the underside of the countertop by clamping to an anchor installed in the top. How the anchor goes in depends on the install method.

Glue-on anchors

1. Bond the anchor to the underside of the countertop with the adhesive that matches the material: Chem-Set 633 for natural stone, concrete, brick, and masonry, or Chem-Set 605 for solid surface, engineered quartz, plastics, and metals.
2. Follow the adhesive’s directions before the sink goes on.
3. Set the sink, place the clip on the anchor, and secure it.

Keep-Nut anchors

1. Install the Keep-Nut anchor mechanically in the countertop. No adhesive is used.
2. Set the sink and fasten the clip to the anchor.
