Description
The Mixpac MFHX 06-18T is a disposable helix static mixer for 4:1 and 10:1 F-System cartridges. It has 18 mixing elements in a 6 mm bore and measures 156 mm (6.14 in) overall, which makes it the shortest nozzle in the MFHX line. The narrow bore gives fine bead control and the low element count keeps back pressure down at the gun.

Where the 06-18T fits
- Shortest MFHX nozzle at 156 mm. Useful in tight fixtures, enclosed assemblies, and anywhere nozzle clearance is limited.
- Smallest bore in the line at 6 mm. Gives a finer bead and tighter placement control than the 8, 10, and 13 mm sizes.
- Lowest retained volume in the line at 4.16 ml. Less material stays in the nozzle at changeover, which matters on short shots and frequent nozzle swaps.
- 18 elements is the low count in the family. Less back pressure at the gun, suited to easier-to-mix materials. Step up to 24 or 32 elements for harder-to-mix chemistries.
- Mounts directly to the cartridge with no converter. Disposable, so no purging or cleanup between batches.
Compatible cartridges
| Cartridge system | Ratio | Fill volume |

Frequently asked questions
What does MFHX 06-18T mean?
MFH is mixer, F-System, helix design. The X marks the 4:1 and 10:1 version with orange elements. The 06 is the 6 mm inner diameter. The 18 is the number of mixing elements. The T is the stepped outlet tip.
What was the old part number for the MFHX 06-18T?
This nozzle was previously sold as the MFX 06-18. The current medmix article number is 102473.
How much adhesive stays in an MFHX 06-18T?
4.16 ml. That is the lowest retained volume of any MFHX nozzle, so it wastes the least material at changeover.
Will the MFHX 06-18T work on a 1:1 cartridge?
No. MFHX nozzles are built for 4:1 and 10:1 ratios. For 1:1 and 2:1 F-System cartridges, use the MFH series.
Do I need a converter to mount this nozzle?
No. The MFHX mounts directly to the F-System cartridge with an interlock connection. The older B-System mixer needed a converter to run on an F-System cartridge.
