Description
The Mixpac MFHX 08-24T is a disposable helix static mixer for 4:1 and 10:1 F-System cartridges. It has 24 mixing elements in an 8 mm bore and measures 234 mm (9.21 in) overall. It sits in the middle of the line on both flow and mixing, which makes it the default starting point for most two-part adhesives when there is no reason to go narrower or wider. See the full MFHX line for all eleven sizes.

Where the 08-24T fits
- Middle of the range on both variables. The 8 mm bore handles most bead sizes and 24 elements handles most mixing requirements, which makes this the common starting point when the material has no unusual demands.
- Six more mixing passes than the 08-18T at the same flow rate and bead size. The cost is 47 mm more nozzle and 1.86 ml more retained material.
- At 234 mm, check clearance in enclosed assemblies and fixtures before switching up from the 08-18T.
- Retained volume of 9.14 ml. On high-value adhesives and frequent nozzle changes, that number adds up over a production run.
- Mounts directly to the cartridge with no converter. Disposable, so no purging or cleanup between batches.
Compatible cartridges
| Cartridge system | Ratio | Fill volume |
|---|---|---|

Frequently asked questions
What does MFHX 08-24T mean?
MFH is mixer, F-System, helix design. The X marks the 4:1 and 10:1 version with orange elements. The 08 is the 8 mm inner diameter. The 24 is the number of mixing elements. The T is the stepped outlet tip.
What was the old part number for the MFHX 08-24T?
This nozzle was previously sold as the MFX 08-24. The current medmix article number is 102476.
Should I use the 08-18T or the 08-24T?
Both have the same 8 mm bore, so flow rate and bead size are identical. The 08-24T adds six mixing elements for a more thorough blend. The tradeoff is 47 mm more nozzle length, more back pressure at the gun, and 1.86 ml more material retained at changeover. If your material mixes cleanly at 18 elements, the 08-18T is the better choice on both cost and waste.
How much adhesive stays in an MFHX 08-24T?
9.14 ml, compared to 7.28 ml for the 08-18T and 11.55 ml for the 08-32T.
Which MFHX size is the most common?
The 08-24T is a frequent starting point because the 8 mm bore and 24 elements sit in the middle of the line on both flow and mixing. If your bead is too large, step down to the 06-24T. If the material streaks or cures unevenly, step up to the 08-32T.
Will the MFHX 08-24T work on a 1:1 cartridge?
No. MFHX nozzles are built for 4:1 and 10:1 ratios. For 1:1 and 2:1 F-System cartridges, use the MFH series.
