Description
The Mixpac MFHX 08-18T is a disposable helix static mixer for 4:1 and 10:1 F-System cartridges. It has 18 mixing elements in an 8 mm bore and measures 187 mm (7.36 in) overall. The 8 mm bore moves more material with less pressure drop than the 6 mm sizes, and the 18 element count keeps the nozzle short. It is one of the more commonly stocked sizes in the line. See the full MFHX line for all eleven sizes.

Where the 08-18T fits
- The 8 mm bore is the middle of the range. It moves noticeably more material than the 6 mm sizes with less pressure drop, without the bead size of the 10 and 13 mm nozzles.
- At 187 mm it is the shortest of the 8 mm group and only 31 mm longer than the shortest nozzle in the entire line.
- 18 elements is the low count in the family, so resistance at the gun stays manageable. Suited to materials that mix without much shear.
- Retained volume of 7.28 ml. If you dispense short shots or change nozzles often, compare that against the 6 mm sizes before committing.
- Mounts directly to the cartridge with no converter. Disposable, so no purging or cleanup between batches.

Frequently asked questions
What does MFHX 08-18T mean?
MFH is mixer, F-System, helix design. The X marks the 4:1 and 10:1 version with orange elements. The 08 is the 8 mm inner diameter. The 18 is the number of mixing elements. The T is the stepped outlet tip.
What was the old part number for the MFHX 08-18T?
This nozzle was previously sold as the MFX 08-18. The current medmix article number is 102475.
What is the difference between the 06-18T and the 08-18T?
Both have 18 mixing elements. The 08-18T has an 8 mm bore instead of 6 mm, which gives higher flow, a larger bead, and lower pressure drop through the nozzle. It is 31 mm longer and holds 3.12 ml more material at changeover.
Is 18 elements enough for my material?
For most two-part adhesives that mix without heavy shear, yes. If you see streaking, soft spots, or uneven cure at the bead, step up to the 08-24T or 08-32T for more mixing passes at the same flow rate.
How much adhesive stays in an MFHX 08-18T?
7.28 ml, compared to 9.14 ml for the 08-24T and 11.55 ml for the 08-32T.
Will the MFHX 08-18T work on a 1:1 cartridge?
No. MFHX nozzles are built for 4:1 and 10:1 ratios. For 1:1 and 2:1 F-System cartridges, use the MFH series.
