Description
This 20 gram (0.70 oz) tube of Pacer RX-50M is the bench and field size of Pacer’s non-sag cyanoacrylate gel. It fills to .020 in and does not move once you place it, which makes it the tube to keep on hand for vertical and overhead joints, parts you cannot lay flat, and fit-up that is whatever it is. It also carries the Range Extended chemistry, so it bonds plated, oily, porous, and acidic surfaces that stop a conventional cyanoacrylate. Small enough for a tool tray or a service kit. Sold in case quantity of 10.

Choosing the 20 Gram Tube Over the 200 Gram
- This is the size for a bench, a tool tray, or a service truck. A gel gets applied as a placed bead rather than a poured drop, so a small tube handles a lot of joints.
- The 200 gram tube holds ten times as much and sells individually rather than by the case, so it suits a station that uses gel every day.
- Sold in case quantity of 10, which fits stocking several stations or kitting out a service fleet rather than a single-tube purchase.
- Cyanoacrylate cure is driven by moisture and an opened tube works against ambient humidity from day one. Buy the size your shop finishes.
- Trialling it on a vertical joint? Start here. Prove the bond in the actual part orientation before you commit to the larger tube.
Performance in Production
- Non-sag and non-running, rated by Pacer for vertical applications. The only grade in Pacer’s cyanoacrylate line carrying that rating.
- Dispenses from the tube. No gun, no mixer, and small enough to take to the part rather than bringing the part to a bench.
- .020 in gap capability, four times RX-100, which covers fit-up that a liquid grade would fail on outright.
- 2400 psi shear on steel, the highest in the RX Series, so the gel consistency costs you nothing in strength.
- Substrate failure on ABS, rigid PVC, nylon, polycarbonate, SBR, and EPDM.
- Because the bead stays where you place it, you get time to align the part that a liquid on a vertical face does not allow.
- A full .020 in gap cures from the outside in. Fixture is 1 to 5 minutes, but allow the longer end of the 15 to 30 minute range before loading a wide joint.
- Not certified to MIL-A-46050C. Check your job requirement before specifying it.
- Keep the cap on and the tip clean. A gel tube left open sets at the nozzle.
Common Applications
- Vertical and overhead joints where a liquid cyanoacrylate runs off
- Field and service repair on parts you cannot reorient
- Service kits and tool trays, one tube per station or per truck
- Loose fit-up needing up to .020 in of gap
- EPDM and SBR rubber, gaskets, seals, and trim
- Plated parts and surfaces carrying oil, silicone grease, or release agent
- Trialling gel chemistry on a joint before committing to bulk

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I buy a single 20 gram tube of Pacer RX-50M Gel?
This size is sold in case quantity of 10. If you need one tube to trial on a vertical joint before committing, call or email us and we’ll work something out. The 200 gram tube sells individually if a larger package works for you.
Will Pacer RX-50M Gel stay put on a vertical surface?
Yes. Pacer rates it as a non-sag, non-running formula for vertical applications, which is a manufacturer specification rather than a technique claim. It is the only grade across Pacer’s cyanoacrylate families carrying that rating. Test in the actual part orientation before committing, since a bead that holds on a wall behaves differently overhead.
How much gap will Pacer RX-50M Gel fill?
Typical gap capability is .020 in, the widest in the RX Series and four times RX-100 at .005 in. Past .020 in, cyanoacrylate leaves an uncured core no matter how much you apply, so ask us about a two part structural adhesive instead.
Does Pacer RX-50M Gel meet MIL-A-46050C?
No. RX-50M carries A-A-3097 Type II, Class 5 only and is the one grade in the RX Series Pacer does not certify to MIL-A-46050C. If your job calls out the MIL spec you need a liquid grade, and RX-700 is the thickest certified option. Call us if the part is vertical and the spec is mandatory.
Is the 20 gram tube the same adhesive as the 200 gram?
Yes, identical. Same non-sag gel, same non-surface-sensitive chemistry, same .020 in gap capability, same A-A-3097 Type II, Class 5 rating. Only the tube size and the order quantity change.
How should Pacer RX-50M Gel be stored, and what is the shelf life?
Refrigerate unopened tubes for optimal results. Once opened, store in a cool, dry location away from heat sources, and keep the cap on so the nozzle does not set. Stored that way, expect a one year shelf life.
What is the part number for the 20 gram Pacer RX-50M Gel?
Our SKU is PAC-FG04070. The Pacer part number is FG04070 and the UPC is 0 87093 00248 7. On older Pacer paperwork the same item shows as Pacer item number 11740044.
