Description
MBHX mixer nozzle is a disposable Sulzer Mixpac static mixer for 50 mL S-style two-component cartridges. It is used with 4:1 and 10:1 materials, giving production teams a fresh Helix mixing path each time a cartridge is opened. The nozzle attaches with the S-style interlock mount and blends epoxy, polyurethane, silicone, acrylic, methacrylate, and other two-part adhesives or sealants as they leave the cartridge.
MBHX mixer nozzle Applications
- Electronics potting, sealing, and small-part encapsulation with two-part materials.
- Aerospace, automotive, and aircraft assembly jobs using compact 50 mL cartridges.
- Construction, concrete repair, and fabrication tasks that need controlled mixed beads.
- Service kits where disposable nozzles reduce cleanup and cross cure risk.
- Bench trials before scaling into larger cartridges or meter-mix equipment.
The mixer is a consumable component, so it should be replaced whenever material has cured inside the elements or when a cartridge has been idle too long. Fresh nozzles help protect ratio accuracy, color uniformity, and final cure strength.
MBHX mixer nozzle Selection Notes
Confirm the cartridge family before ordering. MBH, MBHX, MBQ, and MBQX mixers fit S-style 50 mL cartridges, while MAH and MAHX mixers are intended for AA-series cartridges. Match the element style to the material viscosity, ratio, and bead control needed for the job.
Stock mixers with the cartridge lot, label bins by interface, and keep operators from swapping nozzles between similar-looking systems. For repeat jobs, record the mixer family, element style, and adhesive ratio on the work instruction so purchasing can replenish the right consumable before the next run.
