Cyanoacrylates

Cyanoacrylates are a type of one-component adhesive suitable for various industrial applications where speed and strength are necessary. This adhesive was discovered by accident in the laboratory when parts containing it could not be separated. It is commonly known as "crazy glue” or “super glue.” It is also known as the instant adhesive because of its ability to set and achieve a high level of bond strength quickly. Cyanoacrylates have been modified and improved for industrial usage and a broad selection of materials with specialized properties is now available for many different applications.
